If you ain't in Khan, don't vote msec too fast yet. Let other villagers join the vote first. Khan on the other hand is supposed to have discussed about this.
Also don't delete posts. Reread them in preview mode and if need be defend them later. Often people don't quote the post and the only thing the thread will say is : "<x> deleted a suspicious post". In a main you're done for.
I guess boarding parties don't work as long as a chief engineer is up. I could try the ESN Cain but that'd make sir fabulous suspect.

Is it worth me trying to bullshit something about my command being overridden or something? The narration doesn't give me a ton of wiggle-room, but if anyone can think of a semi-plausible explanation, I'm all for it to get them to go for minor second first.

Well, the suggestions of the top of my head are: Kay, do nothing today unless you can convince romanqwerty to use the bogus coordinates. If not, there's no reason to help the piett, you don't really have to hide anymore.
Khan - Damage boosts, etc. Tachyon pulse at the williams, quantum torpedo at the piett. Either detonate the Piett's torpedo or get a boarding party on the Chief.
I'll try to do the same thing I did yesterday.

I would say blow up the torpedoes on the Piett if they're there and blast the Williams.
If we get a second shot, target the Chief.
That's all *if* the torpedoes can be blown. Any status on those, Kay?

If I launch a torpedo salvo does that fire all the currently loaded photon and the quantum torpedos?
If yes, definetly shooting the Piett to save our comrades and power up the Khan.
I would get 8+2 from using the torps, should give us a decent chance at hitting and a really good chance to finish her off as well.
What can the helmsman, science officer and engineer do to help the Khan shoot more/harder?

Torp salvo only shoots one I think (it's not really a "salvo"), but a quantum torpedo is still nice. Finishing off the williams before they can repair is pretty critical, though, too. That's a 6 vote swing.
Hence my vote above: Tachyon pulse at the williams, Quantum torp at the Piett, Alegis sabotage a Piett torpedo as well. Engineering does a +1d8 damage boost. Captain waits, gives a re-roll if needed, damage boost if not.

I can also shoot someone, the Engineer can power up weapons, and the Science Officer can load some more torpedoes for next round.
