So what should I do? I assume either a: boost shields if we're not attacking or b: charge weapons. All ships start out with max emergency repairs so it does the Khan no good if I charge up one today.

I think pretty much the only choice is to boost shields. None of the others will affect us.

I use 'That's An Order' on Alegis (pending him accepting it).

If I recall correctly, the absolute minimum you have to beat is 14.

I will use the Hack Encyclopedia power to try and plant the following "hint" in the encyclopedia: "A strange broadcast was picked up between the Williams and the Labius. While the transmission was in a particularly unusual dialect of Venutian, it was no match for my translation software and vocabulary database. The message is displayed here, words which had no clear translation match have been changed to their nearest Terran equivalent and placed in brackets: 'Attention <people>! We the <strong helmets> are not your <stranger>! We have taken control of the <wind direction>. There is little to fear! I have sabotaged our guns and request your assistance firing on the <foreign king>. The <controller> here is not your only friend. Many believe in the cause! Do not allow yourself to <fail>, soon we will <derisively laugh> together. Venus forever!' I rolled a 14 for this action. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2622071/

let's make a thread per day with the orders, because this is going to get messy with all the rolls.
the summary always edited into the OP

In case capfalcon wins the vote, I refuse to airlock him on the grounds of refusing to place the fate of my ship in the hands of Dunadan. And other reasons I'll figure out later.

Okay, new reason: He's my helmsman, the Khan needs him to remain combat-effective.

Additional reason: We have no reason to suspect capfalcon of being a traitor yet.
